🚗 1. General Installation Disclaimer
All CS Sportline products are aftermarket performance parts and may require professional installation for optimal results.
While most items are designed to fit OEM factory locations, minor adjustments or modifications may be necessary.
Important:
Test fit all items before painting, coating, or final installation.
Once a product is painted, drilled, or modified, it cannot be returned or exchanged.
CS Sportline is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect fitment or unauthorized modification.
🔩 2. Recommended Installation Practices
✅ Before You Begin:
-
Inspect the product carefully upon delivery.
-
Test fit the part on the vehicle to confirm correct alignment.
-
Clean all surfaces before installation.
✅ Installation:
-
Use proper tools and safety equipment.
-
Follow torque specs and fitting instructions for your vehicle model.
-
If drilling or trimming is required, measure multiple times before cutting.
-
For adhesive-mounted parts (splitters, spoilers, trims):
-
Use high-strength automotive-grade tape or bonding agents.
-
Apply to clean, dry, and grease-free surfaces.
-
Allow adhesive to cure for 24–48 hours before washing or driving at high speed.
-
✅ After Installation:
-
Recheck all bolts, clips, and adhesives after 24 hours.
-
Avoid pressure washing or waxing freshly installed carbon parts for 2–3 days.
🧱 3. Material-Specific Fitting Notes
Carbon Fiber Components:
-
Handle with care; edges may be sharp.
-
Do not overtighten mounting hardware.
-
We recommend using a soft rubber washer or seal to prevent cracking.
FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic):
-
FRP parts may require sanding or light prep work for perfect fitment.
-
Always test fit before paint.
-
Some small air pockets or uneven gel coat surfaces are normal and easily refinished during paint prep.
ABS Plastic Parts:
-
ABS components are flexible and usually fit OEM positions with minimal adjustment.
-
Ideal for front lips, diffusers, and trims that need daily durability.
🛠️ 4. Professional Installation Recommended
We strongly recommend installation by a qualified auto body shop or fitment specialist familiar with aftermarket parts — especially for:
-
Bumpers and widebody kits
-
Carbon fiber hoods or trunks
-
Splitters, side skirts, and diffusers
-
Aerodynamic components
